Brisbane day 5 - Back to Brisbane

The trip to the Gold Coast was completley worth every single penny that we spent.  We all gave each other tons of space, we all agreed on each meal that we decided to cook.  Overall it was the most relaxing times I have had in Australia.  It was nice to finally get away from the schedules of having to meet somewhere at a specific time but I know we wouldn't enjoy free time if we never had to met deadlines and meeting times.

So we woke up this morning and cleaned up the entire apartment.  It was that dirty at all since we only made dinners both nights and left for most of the day when we woke up.  So it was packing time as soon as I woke up.  I am surprised at how easy it is using a backback instead of lugage.  I think I may save up some money when I grab a job and by a backpack.  The ease of having it attached to your back instead of dragging it around is much more pleasurable.  Anyways, we left the condos and headed down to a bus station which seems miles away due to the fact it got up to 105 degrees today!  We got on the bus to head back to Nerang train station and after a quikc one hour on the train (that went about 150mph) we were back in Brisbane!  I was excited to get back knowing that we had a library to go and stay at for a few hours each day in order to get some research done and update my blog.  I never knew how lost I would be without wi-fi but it turns out that I can't stand not having it.  I'm so used to being able to get things done instantly on my phone but now I have to make lists on sheets of paper to remind me of what I need to do when I get to the library.... I understand why some people are great at making lists.  I, on the other hand, am great and emailing on my phone and doing other things on it as well so alot of my list gets knocked out that way. 

So we all met with the professors to discuss what we did over the break which was fun but were interrupted with a fire alarm so we all had to rush down 7 flights of stares only to see everyone going back inside.... Guess we were pretty slow to get out of the building if they already had cleared it by the time we got out haha!  After the meeting this the professors we all decided to head for the library.  I, along with most of the building science class, got a ton of research done and I am looking forward to tomorrows meeting with Fuor Construction to learn about some of their mega, billion dollar projects.  Oh and shout out to my dad for buying me this great book called Where Good Ideas Com From by Steven Johnson.  Pretty interesting stuff.  Alright well I'm off to head back to the hotel and grab a bite to eat with my buddy, Matt.
