Brisbane day 7 - Roos

Janurary12

My buddy

Today I woke up around 9:30 to meet with Anoop for about thirty minutes to discuss my thesis topic.  He really has been helping me with my aim and I am getting closer to pin pointing exactly what my aim will be.  I never have done a research paper that is as extensive as this one has to be.  I am pretty nervous about this whole process because everything is pretty new to me.  After I met with Anoop I went back to my room to cook some breakfast and spoke with my family for a few minutes.  It is always nice hearing their great advice.  I hope that I can be half the influential parents they have been my whole life one day.  After the morning came and went we all got on a bus to head to a koala sanctuary.  It was a ton of fun but instead of staring at sleeping koalas the entire time I stumbled across a gigantic field that had at least 20-30 kangaroos in it.  I was surprised to see that you could just walk in the field through a gate and hang out with the roos.  It was probably the most fun I have had since playing in the waves at the Gold Coast this past weekend!  The kangaroos were extremely tame and would crawl up to you looking for food.  I had an absolute blast hanging out with the kangaroos and it was something that I will never forget.  After that we all headed back into the city and we all hung out in our rooms before we decided to go out to eat.  I got a 5 dollar steak to go along with my 7 dollar beverage... Funny how it is.  Overall it was a pretty good day and I am absolutely exhausted so I
am going to head to bed!  Here are some pictures for you to enjoy.  Night!
