The 12 Apostles were breath taking! They are rock stacks that run along Australia’s southern coastline. They are created by constant erosion of the limestone cliffs on the mainline beginning 10-20 million years ago. The caves that were created then became arches and eventually eroded into isolated rock stacks. Pretty freaking amazing! I do not think that I can explain to you how awesome it was to see these things in person. Give that the 12 apostles were a joy to see… the van ride over turned out to be just as amazing as seeing the 12 apostles. The sites that we were able to see are some images that are going to be forever stuck in my head. There is nothing like being able to see the country side of Australia. We saw a lot of wild kangaroo and the driver was incredibly nuts and thank god he has driven this 6 hour route before because I thought we were doomed on a few occasions. I’ll post a video of some of our drive very soon. Anyways, the drive was insane and the rocks were gorgeous. I can not get over how great this country is.
